Hey! My Name is Jamie, and I am a Cloud Engineer working remotely in the UK. I work predominantly with Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Azure. I started in the IT Industry working in the Legal sector, eventually working from a Service Desk up until I became a System Administrator. Fast forward to 2022, I now work fully remote as a Cloud Engineer, helping clients migrate their workloads to Azure and to use the Microsoft 365 platform as effectively as possible with modern working practices.

Quarter one update! Exams, running and more

Covid, Non-Profits & Exams The start of 2022 started off on a bit of a sour note. Myself & my Partner both tested positive for Covid-19, nearly enough 18 months after the start of the pandemic. We have got lucky when evading the virus, as Emma works in the NHS, and now on a respiratory ward. So yeah, 2022 didn’t start off great, having to isolate for 10 days, the first working week of January.

Deploy a cloud based Enterprise site list for IE Mode in Edge

At Microsoft Ignite 2021, The Edge team announced the capability to create an Enterprise Website list for Edge directly in the M365 admin centre.(Cloud Site List Management) Previously this was done on premise with an XML file and a tool called Enterprise site list manager. Now with Microsoft 365, this can all be done in the cloud through the Microsoft 365 admin center and deployed by Microsoft Intune through a device configuration policy.
